Daily sea excursion to Alonissos marine park

National Marine Park of Alonissos Northern Sporades is the first marine park in Greece, that protects the sea wildlife: monk seals Monachus-Monachus, more than 80 types of bird (tiny warblers, cormorants, falcons (eleonorae), bee-eaters, herons, gulls, eagles etc), more than 300 species of fish, along with reptiles and other animals.

The park (2.265km2) includes the island of Alonissos, six smaller islands (Peristera, Kyra Panagia, Psathoura, Piperi, Skantzoura and Gioura), as well as 22 uninhabited islets and rocky outcrops.

The sea excursion around the marine park has 8 hours duration - you can see the wildlife and enjoy swimming in beautifully clear water.

Scuba Diving

Skopelos crystal water, the rich seabed and its coastline are formed by many underwater caves and reefs ideal for scuba diving.

There are 2 certified PADI Dive Center in Skopelos and offer courses for either beginners or advanced, kids or adults.

Horse Riding

Ride a horse around the monasteries where there is unlimited space for horse riding through the quietness of the natural environment.

Ride effortlessly through the olive groves and hills, ride through the forest till the Holy Monastery Sotiros. Every day we set out on a new riding track, with our beautiful horses, that are born and raised in Skopelos by the Chasiotis family.

Hiking

For hiking lovers, Skopelos is an amazing destination. There are eight piney mountains which exceed the 300 meters height from the sea level, full with old stone cobbled streets and paths which connected the settlements of the island from the ancient years.

Delphi is the highest mountain (681m) and it is situated in the center of the island having a unique view of the nearby islands (Skiathos and Alonissos). Palouki is the 2nd highest mountain and it is situated in the southeast side of Skopelos.
